Personal trainer in Dubai Marina and JBR
Dubai Marina and JBR is one of the nine areas where Sanoob trains clients one-to-one in person, wherever they choose: at home, in an apartment gym, at a gym or in a park. It is 1,400 AED for 4 sessions (350 per session) or 3,000 AED for 10 sessions (300 per session).
Each session is 1 hour, Sanoob brings the equipment to home sessions, and it starts with a free consultation.
Who it is for
Everyone: men, women, kids, teens and older adults. Sanoob's best clients are professionals over 35, often with joint pain or lifestyle health issues, who want a specialist one-to-one, and everyone is welcome.
Women who want a female coach: we have female coaches who train women one-to-one by Zoom, and female nutritionists exclusively for women.
What you can train for
- Body transformation, fat loss and getting fit, skinny to fit
- Improving and managing lifestyle health issues
- Rehabilitation for back, knee and shoulder pain
- Skills coaching in boxing, kickboxing and MMA, at the same price as personal training. Boxing is Sanoob's specialisation.
Why train at home
The hardest part of training is turning up. At home there is no drive across Dubai, no parking and no waiting for a machine, so a session fits before work, at lunch or after the children are asleep.
You also train in private, which many people find easier when they are starting out, coming back after a long break or working around a sore back or knee. And the habit is easier to keep once your sessions end, because you have already learned to train in the space you live in.
What you need at home
Less than most people think. Sanoob brings the equipment to home sessions, so there is nothing to buy. Each session is 1 hour.
- A clear space of about two metres by two metres
- Comfortable shoes, water and a towel
- No space at home? Your building's gym or a nearby park works just as well, within the nine areas
How to start
- Message on WhatsApp for the free consultation, with your goal, your area and any pain or health issue.
- Choose where you train: your home, your gym, your apartment gym or a park, within the nine areas.
- Choose 4 or 10 sessions: 1,400 AED (350 per session) or 3,000 AED (300 per session).
How often to train
For most adults, two or three sessions a week is where real progress happens without leaving you too sore to live your life. The World Health Organization recommends muscle-strengthening activity on at least two days a week for adults, alongside 150 to 300 minutes a week of moderate activity such as brisk walking.
At two sessions a week, 10 sessions cover about five weeks; at three a week, just over three weeks. Between sessions, walking 7,000 to 10,000 steps a day does more for fat loss and health than most people expect.
Change is a sequence, not a jump. The first weeks build technique, strength and the habit itself, and the change you can see follows once that habit is steady.
At home or at the gym?
Both work, and the better one is the one you will keep doing. The gym has the heaviest equipment; at home Sanoob brings the equipment, and there is no travel, no audience and no excuse. Many people start at home, where the first weeks are about learning to move well, and add the gym later if their goal needs heavier loads. With Sanoob you can train in either, within the nine areas, at the same price.
For older adults, kids and teens
Older adults. Strength and balance matter more with every decade, because they are what keep you independent. The World Health Organization recommends that adults over 65 do varied activity that emphasises balance and strength training on three or more days a week. At home, that work happens on familiar floors, with no crowd and no travel.
Kids and teens. The World Health Organization recommends an average of 60 minutes a day of moderate to vigorous activity for children and teenagers aged 5 to 17. One-to-one coaching teaches them to move well and train safely from the start.
Women. Sanoob trains women one-to-one in person, like every other client. Women who want a female coach can train one-to-one by Zoom with our female coaches, with female nutritionists exclusively for women.
Choosing a personal trainer at home in Dubai
Whoever you train with, check these before you pay:
- Recognised qualifications. Look for certifications such as CSCS, from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, or REPS. Sanoob holds CSCS and REPS Level 3.
- Experience with your goal. Fat loss, joint pain, boxing and training older adults each need different skills. Ask what the trainer has done before.
- Clear prices. You should know the full cost before the first session, per session and per package.
- First aid. In your home, the trainer is the only professional in the room. Sanoob is certified in First Aid and CPR.
- A first conversation before a plan. A good trainer asks about your health, your history and your goal before building anything.
Training at home with back, knee or shoulder pain
Pain changes how you train, not whether you train. Rehabilitation for back, knee and shoulder pain is one of Sanoob's specialisations, and at home a session can be adjusted to how your body feels that day.
Exercise works alongside medical care, never instead of it. If your pain is new, severe or getting worse, see a doctor or physiotherapist for a diagnosis first, and bring what they tell you to your consultation.
